Please read the opinion of our president, Mr Christian Stoess, about the draft law on a reform of the Hessian National Monuments Acts

Es ist beabsichtigt, nun auch in Hessen das Schatzregal einzuführen und somit § 984 BGB außer Kraft zu setzen, die „ hadrianische Teilung“ von Schatzfunden.

Die bisherige Regelung, Funde den Entdeckern und Grundeigentümern zu überlassen und nur in Ausnahmefällen die Funde für das Land Hessen gegen angemessene Entschädigung zu erwerben, hat sich bewährt.
