We invite you to our Annual General Meeting 2012 on Saturday, 28nd April at the Karmeliterkloster, Münzgasse 9 in Frankfurt. Two coin lectures, the GIG award and a review on the year 2011 are just some highlights of the day. There also will be a new version of the GIG's articles which has to be approved by the general meeting. We would be very pleased about a numerous appearance. Visitors are welcome to our lectures, entry is free of charge. Please note that the Annual General Meeting will be held in German.

Please read the opinion of our president, Mr Christian Stoess, about the draft law on a reform of the Hessian National Monuments Acts

Es ist beabsichtigt, nun auch in Hessen das Schatzregal einzuführen und somit § 984 BGB außer Kraft zu setzen, die „ hadrianische Teilung“ von Schatzfunden.

Die bisherige Regelung, Funde den Entdeckern und Grundeigentümern zu überlassen und nur in Ausnahmefällen die Funde für das Land Hessen gegen angemessene Entschädigung zu erwerben, hat sich bewährt.
